A determined princess strikes a deal with a demon in exchange for the shot that will save her beloved.

Vloek & Degen is a graphic novel anthology about magical weapons, created by eight artists with each their own individual stories. My story is called Schaduwpijl (Arrow’s Oath) .

DUMMY

I like kings and queens, magic and gothic architecture mixed with a sense of drama and romance. Once I finished my script, I created a dummy on paper to see if the text would fit and if the spreads made sense.

Most of the original composition has remained the same.

*The original script was written in English (my preffered language when it comes to writing).

The coloring themes of this comic is done by EEF VAN WERSHOVEN, whom I always ask to push the colors to its limits. She did a fantastic job on this one. Sometimes I color the same panel multiple times when I can not choose.
